Understanding your target audience is a vital step to successful marketing. Understand that there is a difference between “wants” and “needs”. Don’t go for a market where you think there is a need. There may be a need, but if no one wants it, no one is going to buy your product or service. Find where there is a “want” because this will ensure a market that’s in demand. Focus on the want, not the need.
